FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much does a visit/service/piece of jewelry cost at STTP?

Consultations are always available at no cost. We love answering questions, brainstorming, and troubleshooting to ensure that you feel well-informed and pleased with your purchase (in the event that you decide to make one).

Because STTP has such an amazing selection of jewelry to choose from, price (for jewelry alone and for the total cost of a new piercing) does vary greatly.

Whether you’re looking for an heirloom piece that’s worthy of handing down to your grandchildren or a transition piece just to get you through the healing process, we have something for you.

Though we offer an abundance of choices, all options meet a certain standard of quality (no junky, throwaway jewelry here). STTP prides itself on offering excellence — from our team’s level of expertise and approach to customer service to our products and the shop’s atmosphere.

When it comes to your health, safety, and happiness, the “cheap” route is almost always guaranteed to leave you disappointed. We believe you deserve better.

Pay us a visit. You’ll see and feel the difference.

Do you pierce babies’ or young children’s ears?

We absolutely love being a part of a person’s first piercing experience — little ones included! As a matter of practice, we work with children who are able to clearly communicate that they want to have their ears pierced. Our age minimum requirement for first position lobe piercings is 4. NO EXCEPTIONS.

It is important to us that every single one of our clients has a 100% positive experience, and we believe that consent is a key piece of that puzzle.

You’ll find that our safety and sterilization standards are second to none. The experienced, patient, and friendly STTP team makes kids and adults alike feel cared for and totally at ease.

I brought my daughter here to get her ears pierced for the first time. I definitely recommend STTP to anyone, including kids! My daughter told me she was so happy we went there instead of the mall. Totally worth the extra money. She really enjoyed the entire experience and so did I! This place is great, very professional, and we will definitely be back again.

  • 2nd position lobes: 8

  • Helix: 11

  • Daith: 12 Or meet for consultation

If you have any questions about age restrictions or what you need to bring, please give us a call. We hate turning away clients, so we’ll do our best to work with you.

What identification do you require?

We ask for I.D. every time we pierce, even if you are over the age of 18 and have shown it on a prior occasion. Valid (non-expired) original forms of I.D. are required; photocopies are not valid — unless the copy is notarized as being true to the original.

Acceptable forms of identification:

·      Valid Driver’s License

·      Valid US Passport

·      Valid Permanent Resident Card

·      Valid Federal or state-issued photo I.D.

• Valid US Military I.D.

Again, having to turn away eager clients makes us sad. If you still have questions about acceptable forms of I.D., please give us a call before making the trip to our studio. We’ll do our best to work with what you have to help you meet our I.D. requirements.
